Mikey became a teenager this year. Wow, three in the house!!! He requested homemade pizza and an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. We stayed home from Cora's game in Wausa to celebrate. He has done amazing this year being in Jr high. He ran cross country (practicing with the high school!), played basketball and ran track. He also got straight A's, got a Wolfpack Way and student of the month, participated in band and FFA, and made it to the state science fair. Mikey loves his animals and does his chores diligently. Since I'm writing this on the last day of May (just a little late) he also has a bucket calf he feeds each day and more poultry he's hatching every day:) Unfortunately, his breeding heifer died a couple weeks ago so we're still working on getting a replacement. He received a 20 gauge shot gun for his birthday this year. We love you Mikey boy!
