Morning Out
They had no trouble filling the thing!
Jude LOVES to be outside. So our daily routine goes something like this: Wake up, eat breakfast, play outside, take a nap, eat lunch, play outside, take another nap, eat supper, play outside, take a bath, go to bed. Here are some pics of our "Morning Out" today! (P.S. He's taking the nap right now, that's why I get to do this!)
The black mama cat with her four little kitties were right outside our front door this morning. Jude loved that...and loved throwing rocks at them while they hissed...we're gonna have to work on "nice kitty" a little more!
A baby kitty. They really are adorable! We have two litters and possibly another two on the way...anyone want one?!?!?

One of our new roosters. When we ask Jude about the chickens he says, "chkchkchk"
I love that he can now hold my hand and walk around by himself without always being held...he's getting heavy!

Block Bluster
Allen had a garage sale day and Swap meet yesterday (quite the exciting day!). We picked up three new roosters at the swap meet (they are still adjusting to one another), and Grandma Carolyn found a few things for Jude at a garage sale: blocks and cowboy boots...what could be better!?! Once we got home we discussed how to clean up the blocks since Jude still puts everything in his mouth. I thought I'd just boil them. That seemed easiest, quickest, and best. I have boiled bottles and pacifiers and other toys before with great success. So in went the block to the boiling pot.
Half of them miraculously survived so Jude isn't completely block-less and 50 cents of grandma's dollar was worth something at least!

Havelock Charity Run
Well we did it!!! Alissa, Katie, and I ran a 10K together (6.2 miles) on June 5, 2010. Alissa's 22nd Birthday and the one year anniversary of her 21st birthday ankle surgery! Go Liss! We trained a little and it went very well I'm pleased to say. We ran the WHOLE thing TOGETHER, which was so much fun. Katie even met her goal not to cry and surpassed her goal of walking when she needed to. We plan on doing another one soon:)
